The fraternal twins were born in 1939, and this picture is dated 1958, when they were both nineteen years old. Yes, they are hybrids; their father was Inspector Franklin Stagg of the Spontoon Island Constabulary, a whitetail deer, and their mother was Rosalie Baumgartner, a cheetah.
(It should be noted that the Veil Between Worlds is rather thin around the Spontoon Atoll, so things like this can, in fact, happen.)
Both of the twins, being cheetah/whitetail deer hybrids, are pretty natural athletes.
