I once read a 'fictional' academic text older than any mundane being alive, about a werewolf undergoing transformation. The illustration seemed awfully familiar, though I had never seen it before. It made me wonder if I ever actually got used to the process, or if I just got better at coping. Sometimes it feels like neither.
