To take an epic photo, the extra-buoyant dragonfruit dragon Hylo and the expert yellow shark surfer Kayl have teamed up! Using Hylo as a surfboard and photographer, all Kayl had to do was hold his stance on the dragonfruit dragon (Hylo's quite chunky, so Kayl had plenty of surface-are to work with) to take an incredible photo from a rather cool perspective! While at first Kayl was reluctant to attempt this stunt, seeing Hylo so excited about it was enough motivation to give it a shot!
Hylo: "Just a bit more to the left and..." Hylo has Kayl move carefully, finding just the right angle. Kayl doesn't know how much longer he can keep his balance, but just as he feels like he's about to fall, the dragon gives a signal "Ooooh!! Stop stop stop, that's perfect! Aaaaand... snap Got it! Yea-hah! We did it! How're you doing up there, Kayl?"
Kayl: It's like trying to balance on a waterbed...
"Heh, we really did pull it off, didn't we," the shark exclaimed. "Do you wanna head back to shore now?"
Knowing Hylo's tendency to slowly absorb water upon contact, Kayl knew it was only a matter of time before the chubby dragon would be the size of a liferaft
Hylo: "Awwww... Can we pleeaase do this just a little while longer? I love being your surfboard!"
Kayl: "Ah, alright, but just for a little while! It'll be hard to get you back onshore if you're twice the size of me!"
Not even moments later, Hylo positions Kayl's phone to take another photo, but a little bump from a wave sends the phone flying from his hands
Hylo: "Whoops..."
Kayl: "Hey, don't worry about it! Once we get it back, it isn't something rice can't fix!"

Hy-lo there everyone! As a quick perspective practice, I wanted to draw my Dragonfruit Dragon boyyo, Hylo! (Yes, he is just a sentient dragonfruit, no I do not know how he works) I also decided to do almost everything with a watercolor brush because it's how Hylo himself would have drawn this scene! My goal was to try and do this quickly, and while it's certainly messy, I quite love the way it looks!
