A ref and redesign for my sad shadowy dragon bug.
Vepaphen is an umbral queen, a shadow creature with violet coloring/magic. Her life’s purpose is to build and rule a hive, and of course to create the workers of said hive.
Lesser shadow creatures are bound to submit to her under all circumstances; her Majesty’s mere presence can will you into obedience!
