There was a discord server I was in that said dragons only. I take two steps in... SUDDENLY IM CONFRONTED BY MODS AND EVERYONE telling me its a NO DRAGON server... i got launched out of that place with a swift kick to the butt faster than you can eat the whipped cream off a hot chocolate!. This artwork reminded me of that. I think its funny. I wonder how bad that rabbit hole goes. No winged beasts allowed. No long tails allowed. No huge antlers (or something)... anyway. That dog has only a minor inconvenience. I hope theres a good reason for the doge to not be let in. Possibly allergies.
Huh thanks for sharing that story, sounds like quite the odd server. I somewhat get it like its an online version of whatever a insert-species meeting on cons is but also seems odd to exclude people like that, which still follow the same hobby basically.
But yeah the comic is more meant as "hey look ur sona species is dog and thers a no dog sign" while not affecting anything just cuz they are still people not pets.
