Nervously the young Gryphon sets out into the unknown. Unsure if this territory has been taken he cautiously surveys the land. Not only hoping this land in unclaimed by one of his own species but more-so hoping a larger species of Gryphon isn't in this territory.
These small weasel-like animals are easily preyed upon by their larger, more aggressive cousins. Mainly living off seeds, berries and the occasional small insect they can live in the territory of larger Gryphons as these larger animals only see them as a food source not a competitor for resources.
Like any prey animal, they must be cautious and elusive.

I wanted to draw a Finch Gryph so I did a little looking into Finches. I settled on the White-Headed Munia. I wanted the mammal part to be something in the same habitat so after some research I settled on the Siberian Weasel.
Feedback/critique appreciated.
