I don't think the scanner ruined it at all, really - it looks just fantastic! This piece really speaks to me. Lovers reunited.
I'm fond of the "hair", especially - its something I don't see a lot of in reptilian characters, and I think that's a shame because they always look so attractive with them. I'm assuming they're feathers. *grins*
