For a near future comic guest starring  kritterfox, I did this test shot to determine my interpretation of Kritter's character design. I initially thought I was going to borrow heavily from his avatar, but I ended up taking only general cues from it, and the rest came from refining and tweaking what I learned from his own ref sheets. This remains my first serious attempt at drawing a fox character* and will serve as a 'best reference' for when I actually mix him into the comic, which will be a short side story seperate from the main continuity of my original comic .

(this wasn't the first fox character I drew...there was another one I did in a sketchbook at AC'05, but without a good ref, it didn't come out anywhere near as well--never saw a scan of it either even though I left contact info on it),

Cleaned up pencils, inked via the "magic lasso" method (followed by the inevitable cleanup)
