Benny (the older one) is a GS mix, mostly GS and I don't know what else. Gracie is a Husky/GS cross with a touch of who the heck knows down the line. Possibly Rottie telling from her chest and butt. The kitten found her way here through a half-mile of brush, really extraordinary. As for Joon, the tan colored gal... sadly, she died last solstice eve.

The crocus is pointing towards the setting sun, and they're looking the other direction into the unknown. That was taken two days ago and those flowers are already gone.

Thanks again. Yah, late in the day is really the only time to take pictures. mid to late afternoon is definitely the worst. You can't have just pure white light, just don't work well.
