Keara Akisame, Princess and Heir to the Taerasian Throne, and Mate/Wife of Damian Itami. I couldn't decide what color her dress should be, so I had my brother pick, and the pink one does pop out better than the blue. I drew and colored this 100% in Photo Shop CS3, The color maybe a little off because I was coloring on my Laptop. Her hair is supposed to be Silver with Blue-Violet tips/streaks, and her eyes are supposed to be Violet.

Thank you very much, and you are correct in all your guessing, but I can't change anything until my PC is upgraded (My husband has all my parts, and he is currently stationed in NY) I will make the appropriate changes once I am able to see them xD Curse laptops and their faults >.<

it makes more sense, when you think about it. since they're genetic humans... and you cant really change the positioning of the ear canal itself without THOUSANDS of years of evolution. so just... grow ears over the existing canal! SIMPLE!

Lol, Well technically all animals' ear canals is on the side, as are their ears (horses are questionable)
Let me use cats as an example (since I have one)
Their ears on on the side of their head, but the section that would be our upper cartilage is connected to the top of their head. This character's species is called a drake, which there are many different breeds of, they are a Draconian species, so in humanoid for I try to give them Elvin ears, but some are covered in fur, such as Keara. The hardest to draw in this philosophy are Rabbits/Hares. In my story these are the animals humans are based off of.
Felines, Canines, Oxen, Mountain Sheep, Deer, Lupines, Vulpines, and even Weasels, and then I have a whole bunch of made up species xD
