Things have been weird here with climate change. It is mid-November. We have had only 3 light frosts and one snow that lasted a day and a half. Snow doesn't really stay all winter long anymore in the southern half of the state- it is gone days later after a snow. I am not yet thirty, yet I remember real Wisconsin winters. Winters where we kept at least 6 inches on the ground for months! You used to be able to snowmobile from southern Wisconsin to Copper Harbor- the northernmost tip of Upper Michigan- if you wanted to. Nowadays the trails are open in patchy places for a week or two if you are lucky.
Sorry for the rant! XD Things that should not be are and its scary! Drought, flooding, and giant wildfires are the most visible parts, but the quieter parts are here too. I'm scared.

I love hearing a good rant :D
Yeah, I can relate to that. The sad truth is that they say the change will come to be permanent eventually. It's still changing - Weather's weird here as well. Last years the snow has come later and gone soonner. This year's bit different. It's been more colder and less rain thankfully.
Still I am glad atm we still have snow in winter - wishing that we'll never lose the snow :(
