So, I just learned that Kitsunegender is apparently a thing.

I showed it around, and someone pointed out to me that the fox on the flag has 10 tails, which is one too many. That kinda sent my mind racing, and before I knew it I had designed a new version of that flag based on the old one.

The main difference is that instead of a semi-realistic 10-tailed fox that breaks style with the simple flag design, this one features a highly stylized fox face with 9 tails. Also, I added two extra stripes in the background to bring the number of stripes to 9 as well, and fanned out these colors among the tails.

The extra colors that I added are black, because that is the color of the foxes at Fushimi Inari Taisha, which is _the_ fox shrine in Japan, and brown because it fit the color scheme and is also a color that foxes sometimes take.

The result is this. No idea what will become of it, but I do like how it turned out, and now that it's out, I can focus on other things again =^,~'=
