Felt like sketching out a pic of the moment Orphen met a strange magical anomaly in the form of a child within a mysterious labyrinth.
Intrigued by the spirit's existence and properties as well as the traces of self awareness he appeared to have, Orphen decided to take him home for further study. After discovering that the spirit was capable of learning and developing a sense of self and complex thought, Orphen gave him the name Locke and took him in as an apprentice to learn various magicks.

I'm glad you're enjoying it either way, even though it's just a short story! <3
I just wish I had the energy to make more of a comic or even animations for this, but it just takes me so much after work to want to draw anything at the end of the day. That's why I've been trying to do these sketches lately, at least I'm able to draw just a little bit faster.
Maybe I can slowly put out more sketches showing little pieces of the overall idea, and when I feel more powerful I could try to do more another time.
