3.5 duelist sucks compared to 3.0...

I'll take your word for it - not sure where my 3.0 stuff went to - but they're some sort of rogue/bard/whatever types. My opinion is that a lot of prestige classes just aren't worth it, which is too bad, as I love love love the concept.

You draw cute upturned noses so often that I'm starting to assume that you have one. :)

Great body shape on the front guy, and I like the greyscale shading.

Naw, I have a big ol' honker, as evidenced by the, like, one photo I have online. Maybe I'm getting in a cute upturned nose rut.

The shading and poses are excellent on this, and I love both character designs! I might have put a teensy bit more whitespace toward the left to help give the composition some room, but only a bit. The one thing that gets me, though, is that the whole scene looks frozen in place, and I tried to figure out what about it made it look that way. All I could come up with is that the things that should look out of place because they're in motion, don't. The hair seems to be at rest, the clothing – though admittedly, there's not a whole lot of room for that clothing to show motion – seems at rest, and the cards are all uniformy near the floor. This may be a case where some exaggeration is called for. Both of them have long hair; it should be in flight!
