Something a little different this week, as today happens to be the birthday of FreyFox, creator of such works as Transmission and Katventure - and arguably one of the foremost influences on my own work. As per his name, he has a fox fursona, who he's always drawn with a patterned shirt of some kind - it was a blue checked one for the longest time, and is currently a beige one with a plaid-like pattern. For that reason, a fabric wholesaler seemed like the most logical setting for this picture, and it seems that this one deals exclusively in that unmoving plaid stuff, so beloved of cartoon characters (apparently, the proper name for this effect is perspective incorrect texturing).
