MK: Ryu is a man who chooses to avoid senseless battles if it could be helped. He rather solve his problem without confrontations but in his line of work that's near impossible to accomplish. When he takes arms he is still the calm level headed warrior who rather end things quickly but its only when he is facing a strong opponents who he thinks is equal to him in morals and honor that he truly changes. He will actually enjoy to fight an go all out as a sign of respect toward his adversary. As he summons his blade and reaches out to grasp it, he cant help but grin at the thought of not holding back.

Now don't get me wrong, he doesn't go out looking for fights they just end up finding him ^ ^;;
Normally he will go all out to protect others against someone he cant hold back on but
if there is no treat to anyone and he thinks they can take it he will show them his true strength out of respect.
