The landscape is just as majestic as the large dragon here. He looks like he's less about the jump and more leaning over, perhaps to stop the smaller ones from doing anything via intimidation or some other type of warning?

He does look a little bit annoyed, but not outright angry. I have the impression of a very large dragon telling a couple of wyrmlings [ very young Dragons ] to stop messing around, regardless of if they're his or not.
