She relished the attention, and imagined what it would be like once she got older; surely if everyone loved her now, when she grew up she'd be even more popular!
But when she went to college, finally away from the privileged life she had lived for the first time, things were far different than she expected. She was just another face in the crowd, not getting the kind of attention that she craved. It was driving her crazy, and she was determined to figure out what could get her more attention. After studying other students (usually very unsubtly), she came to one conclusion: bigger is better.
And thus, Gwen-Lily decided on the course her life would take: one all about being the biggest.
Through classic means such as eating a lot or air nozzles, to far more extreme measures like magic and potions, she's not satisfied until she's the biggest in the room, until everyone is staring at her. Thanks to her enormous wealth, she can afford whatever growth methods she wants, thans not only to her trust fund but also to her personal online subscription site ("OnlyFans? Please, I don't want to mingle with all the plebs there.") If she sees someone bigger than her, she makes it her personal goal to make herself bigger than them, and then rub it in their faces just how much larger she is.
Gwen-Lily rubs a lot of people the wrong way with her snobby demeanor, extreme arrogance, and manipulative, dominant personality. But given how undeniably successful she is, she has no interest in changing any time soon... at least, changes that don't involve getting bigger and wealthier!
I didn't intend on getting a new OC any time soon... but then I unexpectedly won an auction from the excellent
Saffron_Milk_Cap , and so this gorgeous chubby fox girl joins the Desireverse! And now we have a true antagonist character... maybe not outright evil, but certainly not the nicest person out there :P
