Yeah, 50 years of Disney’s first furry father, 21st entry in their animated canon, first to feature all animal characters, second adaptation of Robin Hood (first was the live action film The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men in 1952), first without any input without Walt after his cancer death 1966, and second to be released after his death (the first after his death was 1970’s The Aristocats, itself the last to have any input from him, being personally greenlit by him).

And as Tennings put him his review of some crappy PS2 Robin Hood game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHKGlr6nzck): “He steals from the rich and gives to the poor, and for years and years, many wealthy people have since used Robin Hood’s name to make even more money for themselves. An irony which seems to be lost on everybody.”

I haven’t seen the whole thing. I plan on it, but with everything Disney’s doing right now like streaming bullshit and a(nother, for fuck’s sakes; more late-stage bullshit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0lSoHNmMTA) CGI live-action demake, I plan on just finding a used DVD at some time.
