Is there a story or a universe behind this character ? It feels like it's part of something much bigger :o

Yumi, my sona, has a little backstory. She cames from outer space as a child. Her parents send her to the earth, as her homeplanet was nearly before destruction. Without knowing where she came from or who was her parents, she growed up on the earth, until one night an comet flew near over the planets athmosphere, raining thousands of little stars, that disappeared while touching the ground, but one of them, the nearest to Yumi, survived the fall. As she touched the star, a message from her parents came telepathically into her mind. She learned who they are and she learned that she is maybe the last kind of her species, an ancient folk of Foxes with strong magic abilitys.
Since then she tries to master this magic and to learn more about this tragedy.

You and sweet Yumi together are the best, magic foxes i know. She always looks majestic, so gorgeous and stellar in your style! In the above ref sheet she is been amazingly updated on her colors.
