My friend 
Stormslegacy was holding a contest for donations for a ratty rescue, I missed the deadline for the arts (meaning: no more arts available) but you can and should still donate to MRR *thats the rat rescue she works with*. It would mean a whole heck of a lot to me, seeing as how I myself have many of the wonderful animals. It breaks my heart and pains me to know that a rescue is about to close because of setbacks and not enough funds :(

We have 4 left...we had 8 until not long ago. We are not sure if we will get more, the short lifespan is terrible, just long enough to get really attached but not long enough to come to terms with the inevitability of mortality. It's like someone dying just as you've really got to know them.
