In The Darkness, I have found my light....
Figured I would post a real life picture of myself mastering my craft.
16 Months ago I started on a new journey, one that I wasn't sure where it was going to take me in the end but one that I was determined to see through to the end. One that would help me to overcome years of feeling like a failure and feeling like I had failed at everything in life. Now I feel like the world is at my fingertips and I can Conquer anything I set my mind to. A far cry compared to where I was 4 years ago, I was broken, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Feeling like my entire world had collapsed around me and everything I loved and cared for had meant nothing. Now I'm at a place in my life where I can be proud of everything I have achieved. In the end though going through this course to become a welder has made me into a better father and better person for myself.
The best part about all of this though, is the best is yet to come....

This picture reminds me of my training. Damn, I miss welding. Especially welding with the welder's gun and not that snot with the electrodes. I hate that...
Btw, I would like to call the welders what you see on the picture. But I only know the German terms like: Metall Aktiv Gas or Metall Inert Gas Schweißverfahren.
