Ignia and Zappho

I got inspired by that one GIF of the Pokemon anime where Elekid shows off for Larvitar. So naturally I had to pamp em!!! (FA probably wouldn't let me show the first evos)
My thought is these two have been childhood friends for a long time. Ignia was a bit of a showoff, and Zappho was just a shy lil baby; Ignia only wore diapers to comfort Zappho, who needed them. As time passed, their bond grew stronger, they evolved. When Zappho became a Pupitar, Ignia offered to carry him around everywhere; Ignia got pretty strong as a result, and Zappho's latent energy came out all at once when he evolved again, making him the fat boy you see now.
