This is the answer to the question posed in my last post with Rodimus and Shugr

Time to know your comic / cartoon history, kids. I did a Gertie the Dinosaur pic last year, so this time its Krazy Kat, bitches. That comic-page starlet from 1913.
Basic plot? Cat loves mouse. Mouse hits cat with brick. Cat thinks that's a love token. Dog arrests mouse. (ahhh~ the simplicity of the classic cartoon~!!!)

I was actually given a 1946 book with a collection of the Krazy Kat comics. I couldn't put it down for a moment, they are such classics. But I'm an old-school fan as well. Its great to see how the crazy backgrounds and style translate into the modern strips like Calvin and Hobbes.
