I went way overboard with this... My half of a trade with Ancient-Scars from DA

I have a lot of respect for this character. As I read the character description and background I could feel like I was connecting with the character.

Originally, I drew the whole thing horizontally. It wasn't until AFTER everything was done that I decided to turn it vertical. The glowing things were intended to be spirits and they are probably my favorite part of the whole piece. She is supposed to have a silver aura around her, and its there, if you look hard enough. The background kind of drowns it out.
As far as the background goes, I think it might be a little overpowering now, the pink nebula anyway... Idk.
Overall, I think it is successful.
