I've never been good at these, so here's some practice I did.
I really don't need any constructive critique on this, since I already see so many problems, I just couldn't fix them without redoing most of it.

It's certainly not as bad as you seem to think it is. The hip and leg motion's pretty realistic. The body is a bit stiff, but that's relatively minor. While a slowly waddling goose has alot of sway to their tail, a running goose has barely any tail movement at all, so you got that right too!
There is actually a formula for walk and run cycles. It bases itself like a domino effect; where you only animate the legs, then the body, then the neck and head, and lastly the secondary action. Start of with making a 7 image walk cycle and work onward.
