I could tell the scent at least was artificial. Too regular and measured, though I think only a felinis or a chakat would be able to tell. So really, good on her for remembering that detail. Most illusionists from other races forget to take it into account, so she probably is still a felinis. But her name is definitely not 'Kimi Romir'.

"I'll keep an eye on her. I'll probably never trust her entirely. But given that she introduced herself as an illusionist, 'Kimi' probably expected that. And you can't deny how she's helped. I don't think my home has ever been safer; thanks to her wards, you almost can't find the house if you come from any direction besides the front path (well, I can't; Gobe is much harder to fool when it comes to wayfinding). And she even took it on herself to learn a ritual to help with the farm; most spellcasters never bother to do that.

"More than that, she really gets on well with Tera. At times, I really want to trust 'Kimi'. Like she could be a missing piece in my life.

"But that's only when she's here. Despite taking up a residence here, 'Kimi' spends a lot of time away. Just business as usual? Is she being pursued and trying to deal with her pursuers? So I keep to our arrangement. She has a home here. Sometimes she even lives here and helps around. And I'll never fully trust her."

Kimi Romir is an illusionist and quite a skilled and versatile one for her age. She can bewitch the senses almost however she wants, and present herself however she needs. So naturally, she sticks with a sultry look that you might not trust, but you certainly still want to.
