Remembered what month it is and threw together a quick new icon. Almost three hours is quick right? XD
Description: A green rat so bundled up in puffy coat, hat, and scarf that their smile is barely visible. Their shades are on their head reflecting mountains and a blue white winter sky. Behind them a few orange and yellow leaves cling to gray aspens. Both eyes are on the same side of their face, the right much smaller than the left, tattered ears poking up from their puff ball hat brim, making for a somewhat demented expression. Hat and scarf are patterned after the Colorado state flag in shades of blue with a red letter C cupping a yellow sun circle. A plume of white breath escapes their triangular yellow nose.

If I leave it to just inks, I can finish something in an hour or so. It's always the colors that get me. XD
I loved those games. :) Never really saw the art style well enough to mimic it; this is a call back to some very silly doodles I did that...aren't here anymore, oops. My right eye irl is noticeably shrunken which is why I drew it that way here. :D

That sucks. I cannot say I understand the difficulties you might face IRL, but clearly you are strong enough to work past them. Love this art style and yeah it reminds me of some of the larger bosses art-style.
Gameplay-wise I think they're some of the best Rayman games. Lore and story-wise not so much. I enjoyed the original games' story much more, with Rayman's origins being completely unknown even to the creator of the Glade of Dreams (meaning the Dreamer had not dreamed Rayman up and so he was outside the "fate" of the world, which made him completely unpredictable and uncontrollable and was why he could hand the asses of everyone back to them in a silver platter). Also that he was a good guy and a hero because he just wanted to help and there was no one else rising up to the occasion (even though the player could still see him trembling in terror when facing some of the bosses).
In the new games, he's still a good person, but now he's portrayed as a screw-up dumb idiot that somehow solves the problems he actually created in the first place. And Betilla and the other fairies (now Nymphs) created him. Feels kind of a downgrade, personally.
Anyway rant over, keep up the good work, I look forward to your next piece.

Eh, it's just my every day. I think I started drawing to fidget and nobody stopped me so I kept at it and figured out how to do it within my limitations. I'm blind irl but it never really comes up here, not because I make a secret of it, it's just not a thing I think about as extraordinary so it never comes up in conversation. XD
I remember laughing out loud when I got to the end of Rayman Origins because that was such a "we give no shits about the story" moment. :D It's one of the few times I've played a game just for how fun it is to play instead of any overarching story. I never got to play the older games but I've heard the story for them was good. I know about Ly the fairy and that's as far as I got heh.

I have played Legends! And yeah, it does not care about story at all. I've completed Origins 100% and Legends I did all the levels and I think I unlocked all the characters but it's been awhile. It's fun playing those super hard music levels in front of people because all that makes them hard is that they look worse and I just...ignore looking at them. :D
