Bert's scout troop was going on a weekend camping trip. His whole troop was there plus Merrick and Kimiko acting as additional help.
After getting to where they were going to set up camp, they noticed one too many in their group.
It soon turned out that Gary Hedgehog's mother had dropped him off with Bert's troop telling Gary that he would be with them while she ran off to do shopping and/or drinking.
The scouts and adults were shocked by this.
