A tanka for my condolences for the nation Japan. I am...unsure if I did well with this piece, for I know not of the reason for the symbolism of the Rising Sun, so I went only on some assumption. If I am wrong, I do apologize and I will be sure to change it. Also, I do apologize for the double-sided emotions present in the poem. It is the emotions I feel of the tragedy and the hope I have for the land to prosper again.
