VG Cats did this first but...meh, did this a while ago on a sudden urge.
This is not meant to be taken seriously in the slightest, although I will admit that this still irritates me slightly even after finding out the technical reasons behind why games today use such subdued grey and brown colours. Ah well, maybe I'm just a sucker for some bright pixels from generations past...
(Un)fortunately this then allowed me to figure out how to produce fairly okay-ish "next gen" video game style versions of some of my previous art, some of which I may post.
May move to scraps later. Done in the GIMP as per usual
