So it begins.

After one year I finished the prologue and got to open a Patreon. I made it a glorified tip jar for now, but I plan to improve it in time.

Take what I did up to now as a little pilot. I can't even begin to tell you how much I learned from it.
In particular, the fact that I now know for certain this is chronic. I love sharing stories.
So far I only opened up my imagination; time to give it some structure.
Don't forget to check the HQ video on Twitter too, on which you can also find the original thread where I posted the comic:

The animation caught me off guard and i literally expected a "PRESS START" blinking under the title. The title drop visuals scream "SNES game title screen". Personally, i'm a fan of game ART more than most games themselves. There's only so much you could do to adapt a comic or cinematic story to a game setting. Reaching the balance between telling a cohesive story and giving a player meaningful agency is much more difficult than it sounds. Unless you plan and develop both media at the same time to compliment each other, you'd end up gimping one or the other because both forms of story telling, linear and non-linear have their strengths that the other doesn't have. You'd either have to make something entirely new in the same universe, or you'd end up making a boring "follow along the story beats" platformer on par with 90s licensed bargain bin games. So don't wish too hard!
