fydbac does these great sketch streams on the weekends sometimes. Last night, she did a special thing -- after the reserved commissions were done, she took spot commissions, like she normally does, but this time there were constraints. Only one character, sketch and color only, but with a Japanese theme of some sort. Proceeds go to the Global Giving Foundation. And unlike a lot of people who are doing these kinds of donations-by-proxy, fydbac will actually forward you the receipt she gets from the foundation's PayPal donation account. I can't say how impressed I am with fydbac's professionalism.

Here's Aram in a martial arts pose, wearing Japan's colors, and a nice rising sun splash in the background. fydbac almost forgot the wings it seemed, but without any prompting from me, she added them in, easy as that. I even tried to make them optional before they got too far, but she kept going anyway. Her left wing covers most of the tail, which is sad 'cause she spent some time adding an asian mane to it. But, then she made the wings translucent, which I thought was pretty cool. I think I don't have any dragon pics with translucent wings. Maybe one or two. It works well here. :)
