I'm annoyed by how I can't think of a more original title for this, but at least I got another story to share ^^
This is partly an attempt to work on my atmospheric and pacing skills. It's also my first story in a while that isn't too riddled with in-jokes for others to enjoy, so wheeee!

This was a wonderful story. You really had me hooked on it. The details were fantastic and I also like how you had the boyfriend in love so much with her that he couldn't leave and instead decided to become a fox with her. I am curious though; was that fairy really trying to be helpful? A lot of the time from what I've read the fae don't really care about others or their wants and needs. Usually only about having fun. Was there something different about this fairy? A conscience perhaps? Or was he just leading the guy along in order to add to the number of wild animals in the forest? Definitely an awesome read.
Thank you very much for the praise! In response to your questions, I suppose the simplest way to put it is that the sprite /thought/ he was being helpful. Fae don't think along the same lines as humans, so the solutions they consider don't align well with human ideas. The sprite felt bad that the man and woman were separated, so he brought them together in the way he thought most apropriate. Whether other solutions could have been possible is a different question altogether.
