This is an attempt at an Orenburg, or "Wedding Ring" shawl- lace knitting so delicate it can pass through a wedding ring. Unfortunately, I didn't have the gossamer weight wool that would require, so it's a fence-sitting shawl instead. I wanted to take some photos of it laying on old barn wood*, but my parent's barn is not made of wood. It's made of that plastic siding stuff and that would just look tacky. So I settled for their old-ish fence instead.
