Virginia Opossum, or Mrs Opossum, or Ms Opossum, or Mr Opossum - depending on how they decide to present themselves to you personally. A mechanic and computer therapist. Where they come from, this is a very difficult job, and yes - computers need therapy.
Most upper-class people's homes or businesses are run by large intelligent computer engines hoisted up into the rafters of buildings. Possibly run in part with some kind of faded remains of magic. When they start to glitch or misbehave, Opossum climbs up into the rafters to determine if physical repairs are required, but sometimes the computer is just sad and needs reassurance. Opossum likes talking with computers better than people to be honest, and is much more genuine with them.

Yakov is a little different - a mechanical humanoid. Preforms services in a museum. His own unusal ticks to be worked out. one of opossums favorite patiants. He's been on the exhibit hall floor at the museum for decades, and doesn't seem to be going anywhere! They swear they'd bust him out if they ever let him gather dust though.
