Redraw i did a few months back of two dieties I made.
Modokahi is the larger creature and is the god of fire and earth. Modokahi is generally peaceful and has rarely been seen angry. However, when violence is to occur, the longer fur of the mane that travels along the back and tail lights in flames. Otherwise, there is almost always a small flame on the tip of the tail that is warm to the touch. Modokahi's human-esque form is unknown to any mortal at the time.
Tenkanao is the fox and is the god of weather. He use to love to show off tricks to mortals and be the center of attention. He was a bit mischievous as most foxes were known to be and many humans found him to be more of a nuisance. Tenkanao would sometimes take his pranks too far and would not be sure what to do to fix what happened. He usually ran to Modokahi for help is he was one of the few who put up with the foxes antics. However, Tenkanao's pranks began to get more and more out of hand and the other gods tired of the pleese they heard from the mortals affected by the foxes tricks The final straw happened when Tenkanao lost his temper creating a massive thunder storm that ravaged a town creating fires and utterly destroying the area. The other gods sealed Tenkanao's powers by wrapping a divine cloth around his muzzle to keep him from calling forth his devastating storms. Tenkanao was enraged but nothing more than sparks would fly which was one more thing for him to be made fun of. He now spends his time storing up energy for when he is free. Modokahi hopes something can be resolved before then.
The moment in this picture happened much before Tenkanao's powers were sealed when he was more carefree and liked to bother Modokahi a lot.
