The Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and Capital from the shores of the Potomic River. I worked HARD for this shot (long, achy story). This is the only place that you can get these 3 monuments at the same time (when not airborne). Even better can be achieved if you go into the buildings in Roslyn, but then you wouldnt get the water reflection would ya? Last weekend here and Ive been meaning to get this shot!

Not liking the coloration too much. Just doesnt feel right no matter what I do. Like the black and white version as well, but nothing really stands out for me =\

What I did: 2 shot Custom HDR (0, -2 EV), played with the curves so the branches became silhouette, and added a blue filter (LBB) for more neutral midtones and more punchy highlight colors.
