"The universe itself could bend it's will, a god could command it and yet... The vault would only open if YOU willed it."
The lynx placed her hand on the cold grey door, immediately it hummed to life, intricate patterns spreading outward. Shambour could feel the vault door waiting for her command to open as if it was alive and yet she knew better.
Beyond these doors was her homeworld's greatest achievement, an artifact, the Compilation. A little cube that contained everything about the universe, everything that ever was, is, will be and could be. They told her that it had sat inside since before the first stars, since before time itself had been made linear.
Shambour did not know how much any of that was true, but out of everyone on Kellus the responsibility of the vault had fallen to her. She was it's key, and she would keep this artifact safe from everyone.
