And I thought I'd finally get to see the payoff of this bastard getting owned after being insufferable for god knows how many pages

Granted, I haven't followed the story for long, so I don't know much about the villain here, nor how the world works, systems and stakes... But if your goal was to make the villain insufferable, then you're succeeding at it because I can't wait to see them get stomped, I hate seeing this person, every time I see their smug smile I roll my eyes, and I feel like the trek to there has dragged because of how cartoonishly evil they seem.

AGAIN, I am missing a ton of info and maybe with that prior knowledge I would like it a lot more... And also it may be the case that the payoff makes it all fit into place perfectly and my comments will be null then, but until now... I'll just keep reading hoping for something awesome to happen.

You know the story you're telling, and I'll be reading for a while now. Sorry if my words were harsh, but yeah, I don't intend to change your mind on anything if you already have a clear path for how everything's going.

Sisari, yes, she as be the trouble maker since the begining, Lorelie is probably more poses than anything. Would not put it pass her to enjoy the power though.
