They strode closer, just their slow and gentle wading mixed into the sounds of the waves. Their bodies, however, buzzed and fluttered as if it was smoke blown around in strong winds. They were hard to focus on in the haze of the morning light. I took a photo and in a sudden bust of deafening silence; they vanished. The storms came later that month.

Been stormy here recently, and I've been on the beach in between the rain and wind, cleaning up the rubbish left behind by the high waves and felt like I had to draw something in that mood.
