Karamador: Tourney in Aborku, Page 52
Suomalaiset huom! Tämän sivun suomenkielinen versio löytyy täältä (the Finnish version of this page is here): https://mediasaunaraahe.wordpress.c.....aiset-sivu-52/
The battle against lindworm continues and with team work our heroes finally finish this terrifying foe! After the fight it's time for introductions as Sir Kiljaos and Zak confront the mysterious bird girl. She indeed is Ydia the chanting goshawk bard from Afkambash, who apparently has only recently started her career of an adventuring bard!
Though to everyone who has browsed through my art gallery here her identity probably wasn't that big of a secret as we have seen her in some illustrations I've made, but not she has properly been introduced into the comic stories! What will her role be exactly in this story arc? We shall see in time!
Ydia also sometimes says some things in her home language as we see on this page and on page 50. This language is South-African Xhosa language. "Molweni" indeed means greeting, and "tshotsho" means "welcome" but in an insulting manner, so it actually means something like "you're welcome, fool" for example. Thanks to
Seanhawk23 for suggesting this cool idea of Ydia speaking in Xhosa language!
Comments and faves are always appreciated! New pages are coming every tuesday!
