Cerberus doesn't necessarily want Carmelita dead, so much as he wants her exposed as a hypocrite and a false hero -- in his eyes, her attempts to brainwash Sly Cooper, who took a bullet for her, mark her as such. In what's either a dark display of villainous sportsmanship or a bid at intimidation, however, he says he's also willing to give Carmelita a "hero's death" if she's determined to keep fighting...and he's just out of range for Carmelita's fearsome kicks to make contact with anything vital.

Before Carmelita can try calling his bluff and hope that it is a bluff, however, the arrival of a helicopter calls both the attention of both her and Cerberus...

Yes, the perspective in the top panel's flipped a bit compared to previous panels...but admit it, a fiery backdrop looks better than a foggy skyline, right?
