I generally dislike being part of the mainstream craze. Even in my 30's, I have that weird rebellious "I want to be different and if everybody else likes it, then I want to like this other thing instead!" (I know, such a cat. I can't help it.) But autumn being my favorite season... that's one train of thought where I don't mind being part of the crowd. Everything about it is so lovely. The unbearable heat and dryness of summer finally gives way to cooler breezes and misty mornings/raining days, the trees change into a magnificent array of colors (especially now that I'm in Washington, a stark contrast to my home state of California), and the days start getting shorter - yes I am a night owl... also like a cat.

Here is Ajabu, taking advantage of the season by carrying a little leaf in his maw. Perhaps he's giving this to someone. Perhaps he's storing it away for later. The world may never know...
