A quick reference doodle I did for Matthias’ general tattoo placement (which I’m still messing with) and the ports in his spine/skull where he gets plugged into the Electric Divine (which are much more consistent).

Opium poppies in bloom tangled with wires in a loose DNA double helix pattern; red-orange petals, lavender leaves, white wires; he has no nipples, the largest poppies are where those would be; the wires ending by his shoulders and on the sides of his neck are meant to fade into his fur as if they are sinking into him; this reference is not meant to be exact, the only definite thing is that he has poppies on his chest that wrap around to his back.

Ports (shown in green)
Made of surgical grade metals and other components, the connections are similar to the jack of an electric guitar amp. They directly touch brain matter and his spinal cord.
- Skull: 4, one over each eye (connections to his frontal lobe for speech processing), one behind each ear a bit low down (allows him to hear the digital gods somewhat like using bone conduction headphones but way more invasive); connecting wires are thinner, ports usually hidden by hair.
- Spine: 6, three in his neck vertebra, one large port between his shoulder blades (thickest connecting wire), two in his lower spine; these enable his god to speak through him and move his upper body somewhat (it’s a symbiotic performance akin to dancing but the leading partner is half puppeteering your nervous system). Hidden by hair if he has it down, easily hidden by his clothes in daily life. He is either shirtless, wearing a custom made backless robe, or naked when speaking as an oracle.

Yes he is mostly a side sleeper. XD

Note: there are only two oracles at this point in history with spinal ports. The other hundreds of oracles who speak for the small gods only have skull connections.
