Scuti and meeting with the Dark Knight
A dark tale from Scuti's life for Halloween
The Dark Knight was considered an old legend, an eerie tale of a warrior who took to the battlefield without taking sides and destroyed every living soul.
The warring parties could no longer continue their wars, since there was nothing left of their troops. This led to the disappearance of certain houses,
or to the fact that the political situation remained unchanged.
Years later, the terrible tale repeated itself again.
The elder houses of Rastaban have gathered an army to fight a very prominent lord, the self-proclaimed true descendant of the King Rastaban Starborn.
The young lord was an excellent orator and commander with the habits of a tyrant, the people followed him, taking up arms against the Elder Houses.
While Scuti's older brother, Sarvin, was away in another kingdom, the young lady volunteered to defend her home and people. This battle was decisive: all or nothing.
Destruction of the impostor or oppression and death.
The dark knight appeared in the midst of battle. All it took was a swing of his sword to tear hundreds of soldiers apart. No one could resist such a fierce warrior.
It didn't matter to him who he killed.
The monster was approaching. Time stood still and young Scutiโs heart almost froze with fear. Something needs to be done! Pulling herself together,
the young dragon created a protective barrier, knowing deep down that this would not save them. Expecting death, Scuti promised herself
that she would not lower the barrier and would do everything possible to protect her soldiers.
The moment the Dark Knight's sword fell on the barrier, Scuti did not believe what was happening - the barrier did not fall.
The Dark Knight frantically struck the protective barrier again and again.
The monster looked straight into Scuti's eyes, as if death itself... A witness to a failed war. Witness to an unwinnable war.
Witness to an unlost war.
The knight turned around and stepped on the corpses, crushing bones and skulls under his heavy boots,
disappeared into the darkness, leaving the battlefield.
Scuti and four soldiers were the only survivors of that battle. The only ones who survived the meeting with the Dark Knight.
This forever left a mark on Scutiโs soul and it will never be the same.
She will find the Dark Knight and take revenge on him for every soldier who died from his sword.
This meeting became the starting point in the history of Scuti. It is from this moment that a chain of events begins that will lead
Scuti to a meeting with Sagitta, the only heir to the Starborn house.
