It was beautiful weather today and I felt obliged to make the scene as such.... not to mention I wanted to play around with backgrounds more.

You have used complementary colors, the harmonic compostions for eyegasms of the viewer.
hmm, perhaps you could make the trees a bit smaller and reduce the grass in the middle of the lawn.
Then you put some much more tiny grass at the back-end of the lawn , using a more narrow brush for the nice ambiented light rays , and the background should look more 3D
However, it is all a practice and getting an eye for , in fact it is a differece to give advises and using them for yourself ><,

THIS IS PERFECT.
I was just thinking about how much I despise the winter and how much I want all the snow to melt. We had ABOVE 50 DEGREE WEATHER YESTERDAY and it was freakin revolutionary.
