Very excited to show off this newest character! Been a bit of a work in progress for a while!
Nysanthea, or Thea (feya) is a powerful void elemental who inhabits the mortal planes. She was long exiled from her other kin due to her particular attitude towards the mortals who inhabit the plane, leaving her free to pursue her own experiments and build her domain. From an early introduction to the plane she took an interest to dragons, quickly building up her strength to subdue and consume one to build herself a new body. Some say she changed that day, inheriting the powerful intelligence of the dragon she had consumed, along with its powerhungry nature alongside her own manipulation and savage brutality. Despite this, she maintains a very keen eye for the arcane and a fascination of the bountiful magic of the mortal plane and its inhabitants. She is one of the few examples of a void entity which does not seek to destroy the forces of creation but instead to study and learn from them.
Her conquests proved fruitful, taking over the body of an unnamed dragon and consuming it to become something new. The goo dragoness has a liquid body, her draconic power fueled with the energy of the void. As any void elemental she is bound to a tether in the form of the gem in her chest, but she also inherited some of her powers from her void lineage. Her tail is an ancient staff of powerful arcane magic infused into her tail, which can merge with entities of her choosing, perform dark rituals, or brainwash her victims into servants. Her scales are tipped with a void-poison which renders even the deadly of foes debilitated and charmed by her presence. As a result her typical attacks utilize goo magic, scales shot from her hide as projectiles, and her magical tail.
The dragonness guards a hoard of valuable artifacts she studies, trying to find ways to absorb their power to add to her own. Her lair is that of an abyssal mire, tainted by the corruption of the void of which her corrupted servants and thralls roam as her defenders. One would be a fool to dare attempt to challenge the dragonness... but leaving her to her own devices could only prove disasterous. When among mortals she tends to adopt the form of a anthro hellhound to more easily communicate and better manipulate/deceive them.
