Haa makes sense, crazily enough they increased the size limit not that long ago.
By the way, you can still break the (even improved) upload size limitations by re-uploading the image after it's posted. Not that you'd normally want to post near-full resolution work publicly, but the option is there if it's a bigger piece. :P
