Pro entertainment wrestling is "fake" in that the fights are staged for entertainment purposes. But it's actually really hard to pull off those moves successfully without seriously hurting someone. I knew someone who used to "fight" in the lower circuits, he had a teddy bear costume but he was actually a heel, his whole character was being an evil teddy bear who hoarded candy, and he got hurt quite a lot because he fought a lot of those clown wrestlers who couldn't do their moves right.
